AN EXCLUSIVE TASTE FROM THE WHITE HOUSE
OAKLAND PARK, Fla. (March 30, 2015) – On Saturday, April 18, recipes of the White House kitchen will be revealed when former White House Chef John Moeller hosts a dinner, demonstration, and Q&A session in Oakland Park, FL. The event benefits Hospice by the Sea Foundation and Hospice of Palm Beach County Foundation.
During his extensive career, Chef Moeller served the administrations of President H.W. Bush, President Bill Clinton and President George W. Bush. His vast experience led to his recently published cookbook, “Dining at the White House: From The President’s Table To Yours,” from which the evening’s menu will be drawn.
The event, scheduled for 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the Hugh’s Catering demonstration kitchen, marks an important joint effort for Hospice of Palm Beach County Foundation and Hospice by the Sea Foundation. Once competitors, Hospice by the Sea and Hospice of Palm Beach County and Broward County combined in 2014 and now serve the community together.
“As two not-for-profit hospices in Broward, we were essentially working toward the same goal of helping patients live life to the fullest,” said Greg Leach, President of Hospice by the Sea Foundation and Hospice of Palm Beach County Foundation. “Joining efforts allows a long-time vision to come to fruition – serving more patients and more families at the most important time in their lives.”
Tickets for the event are $150 per person and can be purchased through Mary Coleman at (561) 416-5037 or via www.hpbcf.org/broward-whitehouse.
