Dining at the White House–An Insider’s Story

White House Chef John Moeller is coming to the Hayes Presidential Center!

This is your opportunity to hear him share his experiences preparing food for three U.S. presidents and sample appetizers.
Chef Moeller will talk about what it was like to work for the administrations of George H.W. Bush, William J. Clinton and George W. Bush. He will give a presentation and reference his book, “Dining at The White House.”

There will also be a question and answer session. Chef Moeller will do a live demonstration of preparing a favorite appetizer from a White House menu and partner with the culinary students at Terra State Community College to prepare appetizers for the audience to sample.

Location: Hayes Presidential Center Auditorium

Chef Moeller will sign copies of his book after the presentation. The book and wine glasses will be available for purchase in our museum bookstore.

VIP seating tickets — $125 per person, includes table seating, appetizer sampling, a Dining at the White House wine glass, wine and sampling of the appetizer made during the live demonstration. There are 20 VIP sponsor seats available at each program.

General seating – $50 per person, includes wine tasting and appetizer sampling. There are 60 seats available at each program.
